KURT Tippett has been photographed in Sydney Swans colours for the first time.

On their Facebook page, the Sydney Swans have published a photo of former Crow Tippett in a club polo shirt, just hours after he was drafted.

In a short statement, Tippett said: "They are a terrific group from what I've heard and what I've learnt so far from being here a short time and I'm really excited about getting in and training hard and earning their trust and respect."

Tippett is expected to start training tomorrow.
