WHICH Fremantle players should you pick in your SuperCoach team and who should you avoid?

Over the next month we'll count down every team in the AFL with a comprehensive SuperCoach preview. We'll look at West Coast tomorrow, but it's all about the Dockers today.

Ross Lyon has his sights set on steering Fremantle into consecutive finals series for the first time in club history, and it would take a brave person to suggest the Dockers will fall short of that goal.

The men in purple fell agonisingly short of a preliminary final berth in 2012, and with a talented midfield that boasts the likes of Nat Fyfe, David Mundy and Michael Barlow, expect the Dockers to be challenging again.

Which Dockers will be in your SuperCoach squad? Leave a comment below.

Naturally, that means there may not be too many SuperCoach cash cows to be found at the club. But there are plenty - including the ever-improving Fyfe and recruit Danyle Pearce - who look destined for a price rise and could be valuable additions to your squad.

BYE: Round 11 (with Brisbane, Hawthorn, Richmond, Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs)

SUPERCOACH STAR

Matthew Pavlich (forward) $593,900

The Freo skipper simply keeps on keeping on.

He may seem like a less exciting option than some of the competition's boom power forwards and high-fliers, but you can look no further than Pavlich for consistency and durability.

The veteran averaged 111 last season - more than 10 points per game to the good of Steve Johnson, Cyril Rioli, Taylor Walker and Tom Hawkins. And while Pavlich can't keep producing forever, expect him to be a worry-free keeper for you this season. He'll get plenty of supply from his teammates in an improving midfield.

BANK EM

Nat Fyfe (midfield) $498,800

He's coming off an injury-plagued season and appears lowly-priced for a top-line midfielder. But make no mistake: Nat Fyfe is a gun.

The youngster showed plenty of signs that he's ready to climb into the elite tier of AFL players in 2012 before his season was cruelled by a shoulder injury, with a total of just nine non-finals games accrued.

Looking fitter than ever this pre-season, Fyfe is shaping as the Dockers' midfield leader and also has the ability to impact on the scoreboard. If he can cut the clangers out of his game, the 21-year-old is set to push his average well past 100.

David Mundy (midfield) $477,300

Mundy is in his prime and represents a bargain at this price. The on-baller enjoyed a fine finish to the 2012 season, warming to the task after the second half of his 2011 campaign was cruelled by injury.

He knows where to find the footy and increased his kick-to-handball ratio last season. Look for him to return to his 2011 form, where he was in All-Australian calculations mid-season. The best SC option behind Fyfe in Fremantle's on-ball brigade.

BUY EM

Danyle Pearce (midfield) $487,400

The speed demon is pricey, but is likely to rise in value provided he can find a niche off a half-back flank or a wing.

After copping many a hard tag at Port Adelaide, Pearce will relish being freed up as opposition sides look to target Fyfe, Stephen Hill and other on-ballers.

Pearce will also be looking forward to playing among the wide expanses of Patersons Stadium every second week, with plenty of uncontested ball to be feasted upon.

Josh Simpson (midfield/forward) $119,500

Fremantle's first pick in the draft (No.17 overall), Simpson is one to keep an eye out for later in the season.

The teenager is unlikely to be used early, but solid WAFL form will help get his body AFL-ready. As a dual-position player, the natural talent could loom as a handy downgrade target mid-season.

BURY EM

Aaron Sandilands (ruck) $602,400

The ruckman has been a SuperCoach gun over the journey, no question. But with the latest injury setback - a hamstring issue that will keep him out of the opening weeks of the season - can you really trust his body any more?

Sandi played just 13 and 14 games in the past two seasons respectively. It's an almighty risk to pick him for the start of the season given his interrupted start. It's best to wait and see how he holds up in his first couple of games back before even considering taking the chance.

Kepler Bradley (forward) $379,400

The veteran battled towards the end of last season, with a number of low-scoring performances putting his place in the side in jeopardy.

He's by no means a lock in Fremantle's best 22 and shouldn't be on the radar when it comes to picking your SC squad.

SUPERCOACH DRAFT WATCHLIST

Matt de Boer (midfield)
Has risen in stature to become an important cog in the Dockers' midfield. He boosted his average by almost 20 points per game to 85 last season and is a tackle machine.

Chris Mayne (forward)
Showed he's ready to take his game to the next level in a forward role alongside Pavlich. Can take a contested grab and gives great value with his pinpoint goalkicking.

Lee Spurr (defender)
Will sneak under the radar of most because he's not a well-known name, but the recently-promoted backman should settle into a regular role this season. Could be handy for cover down back.
