CROWS captain Nathan van Berlo has described explicit footage of teammate Ricky Henderson appearing on television as "really disappointing".

Van Berlo said Henderson had been left gutted by the footage after what had been "a difficult weekend for him".

"It's really disappointing for Ricky,'' van Berlo said at a press conference to promote Sunday's Showdown XXXVI clash against bitter rival Port Adelaide.

"I'm certainly feeling for him because no doubt it has been a difficult weekend for him.

"At the moment we're letting the club deal with it through the appropriate avenues."

Van Berlo declined to comment further on the incident which left the Crows demanding answers from broadcaster Fox Sports as to how vision of Henderson's penis went to air during television coverage of Saturday's 19-point win against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.

Henderson's private parts were visible after he adjusted his shorts in the changerooms at half-time.
Fox have issued an on-air apology.

"We're disappointed about the whole thing but that's the last comment you will hear from myself or the club on that," van Berlo said.

"We'll leave the relevant people to deal with it from here."

Power captain Travis Boak described the Henderson incident as "pretty unfortunate".

"As a club we try and make it the best for the viewers and the fans as we can," said Boak.

"We had a camera in our coaches box in the first week (against Melbourne) and want to make it the best viewing experience for our fans and for the fans of the AFL.

"But there is a fine line. We need that respect for players and the incident that happened on the weekend was pretty unfortunate.

"We want to help the AFL as much as we can to give the viewers the best experience but we do need that level of respect for players as well."

Van Berlo, meanwhile, said he is considering challenging his reprimand from the AFL match review panel for striking in a bid to keep his clean record.

Van Berlo has been offered a reprimand for striking Lions onballer Tom Rockliff while, he says, he was attempting to handball during Saturday's game.

"There was no intent there other to get rid of the ball,'' he said.
